Chinese fir leaf algae

[plant morphology] Cunninghamia lanceolata
Aquatic herb, 10-60 cm high, with rhizomes, the upper part of the plant often exposed to the water. Stem erect, unbranched. Leaves whorled, 4-12, 1-whorled, strip-shaped, undivided, 1-1.8 cm long, 0.2 cm wide, slightly curved or straight, longer and brittle in water. Flowers small, usually bisexual, less unisexual, sessile, solitary in leaf axils; without perianth; stamen 1, on ovary, slightly on one side: ovary inferior, elliptic. Drupe elliptic.
In shallow water or river grass. It is distributed in Northeast, two north, North and southwest of North China.

Bitter, slightly sweet and cool.
