[plant morphology] hoof?
Deciduous Liana. The branches are slender and angular, and the young branches are densely covered with dark gray or rust colored villi. The bark has no lenticels and is flaky; pith brown. Leaves alternate, usually 3-5-lobed, about 6-14 cm long, about equal in width, heart-shaped at base, with light and irregular coarse serrated margin, dark green above, glabrous or with sparse fine hairs on veins, dark gray or rusty below, densely tomentose; petiole 3-8 cm long, usually hairy. Panicle 5-10 cm long, flowers bisexual and unisexual, allogeneic; calyx discoid, entire; petals green white, 5 pieces; stamen 5, born under pistil, disc base, opposite pistil; under pistil, there is disc, containing 5 nectaries, ovary 2-locular, inflorescence short conic. Berry black, with purple wax powder, oval or oval. 1-3 seeds. The flowering period is from July to August. The fruit period is from September to October.
It grows in the Bush on the hillside. It is distributed in Fujian, Sichuan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Shandong and Taiwan.
