[chemical constituents] the rhizome contains betulinic acid. It also contains soporioside a, soporioside B and bisoxysoporioside B.
[nature and taste] Guiyang folk herbs: "sweet, slightly bitter, flat, non-toxic. "
[function indications] moisten the lung, relieve cough, detumescence and lower blood pressure.
[usage and dosage] oral administration: decoction, 3-5 yuan (1 liang fresh).
