Basal leaves 1-2-pinnately divided, lobes broadly ovate or cuneate, margin deeply divided or notched, petiole 3-15cm long; cauline leaves alternate, 2-3-pinnately cleft, ultimate lobes linear, entire. Compound umbel terminal; without involucre; umbrella width 2-8; small involucre linear; pedicel 4-10; flowers small, calyx teeth 5, unequal; petals 5, white or light red, obovate, flowers with radial petals on the outer edge of umbel. Suspensory fruit nearly spherical, smooth, slightly convex fruit edge. The flowering period is from April to July and the fruiting period is from July to September.
