[plant morphology] Kalanchoe microphylla
Small shrubs, 15-80 cm high. Bark flaky; branchlets slightly curved, grayish brown or brown, grayish white pilose when young. Pinnate compound leaves, leaflets 5-9, obovate or elliptic, 6-12 mm long, 2-6 mm wide, apex acute, base cuneate, margin retrovolved downward, entire, dark green above, with sparse pilose, gray white filiform pilose below; leaflets subsessile, rachis with long pilose; stipules membranous, sheathed. The flowers are solitary or arranged in the shape of corymbs; they are yellow, 1-2 cm in diameter; the calyx is 5 pieces, with accessory calyx; the Corolla is 5 pieces; the pedicel is 5-8 mm long, pilose.
It grows on the hillside, grass dam and stone crevice of hillside in pastoral area. Distributed in Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Gansu, Shanxi, Sichuan and other places.

Sweet and cold.

[function indications] diuresis and water dissipation. Treat cold dampness, beriberi, prurigo, mastitis.
[usage and dosage] oral: decoction, 2-5 yuan. External use: tamping.
[selection] 1. Treatment of prurigo: Kalimeris microphylla, Saxifraga Saxifraga, Sophora flavescens, decocted.
