[plant morphology] tall Aconitum, also known as Andrographis paniculata Aconitum, Andrographis paniculata niubian.

Herbs perennial, with taproot. Stem erect, ca. 1 m tall, slightly angulate, hollow, with slightly curved pubescence. Leaf blade 1-5-lobed, margin 1-5-lobed, margin 1-5-lobed. The stem leaves are small and the stalk is very short. Raceme terminal and axillary; flowers purple, about 10, sparsely; calyx 5, coronal, upper sepal cylindric, lateral sepal oblate, inner tip densely hirsute; lower sepal ovoid; petals 2, clawed; stamens numerous, filament base enlarged, long oval wing; carpel 3.
