Herbs perennial, 10-19 cm high. The root is several, tufted, long and thin, the middle part is expanded into ellipse, fleshy, the surface is soil brown. Leaf blade 10-16 cm long, apex acuminate, entire, terminal semicircular tubular, glabrous on both sides, parallel veins, slightly protruding from the back. The flower stem is extracted from the foyan package composed of two bracts, 10-12 cm in length; the flower is light blue purple: perianth is 6, 2 whorls, outer 3 larger, elliptic obovate, about 2.1 cm in length, outer curved, inner 3 smaller, erect, elliptic lanceolate, about 1.2 cm in length. Capsule long and narrow, branched.

It grows on hillside, grass and stone gap. It is distributed in Yunnan.
