Herbs biennial, 50-100 cm high. Stem erect, hairy, upper branched. Leaves alternate, oblong, obovate or lanceolate; apex pointed, base auricular, slightly clasping stem, margin serrate, sessile. Raceme terminal; sepals 4, stellate hairs; petals 4, cruciform, smaller, white. Longhorn fruit flat, pendulous, 3-10 cm long. Seeds numerous, margin narrowly winged.
It grows on hillside, gully, grassland, forest edge, shrub, riverbank and roadside grassland. Distribution of northwest, North China, northeast and other places.
