[plant morphology] flax
Annual herbs. 25-90 cm or higher. Stem erect, base slightly lignified, less branched. Leaves alternate; sessile or nearly sessile; leaf blade linear or linear lanceolate, 1.8-3.2 cm long, 2-5 mm wide, entire, veins usually 3.
