Herbs perennial, up to 1 m tall. Stem erect, less branched. The leaf is oblong, irregularly feathered, 5-10 cm long and 2-4 cm wide. The flower is yellow, the marginal flower is ligulate, the disk flower is tubular, 5-toothed; the involucral bracts are in one row, with additional bracteoles at the base, like calyx. Achenes cylindrical, ribbed, with many COROLLAE.
Most of them grow on the edge of shrubs, weeds and ditches.
