[source] it is the whole grass of Oxytropis polyphylla.
[plant morphology] Oxytropis polyphylla
Perennial herbs, 15-40 cm high, with dense white pubescence. Most of the leaves are basal, and the leaflets are finely linear, usually 4-8 whorls. There are 30-40 whorls of leaflets on each leaf. The apex is sharp, the base is round, and the entire margin is round. Raceme, scapes longer than leaves, flowers larger, 2-2.5cm long, corolla red purple, pods oblong, ventral slightly flat, dorsal tip protruding.
It grows on dry mountain, grassland, hilly land, dry river, sandy land or sand mound. It is distributed in Northeast and Inner Mongolia.

Functions and indications: heat clearing and detoxification, detumescence, dispelling wind and dampness, hemostasis, treatment of influenza, sore throat, carbuncle, swelling, trauma, blood stasis, swelling, various kinds of bleeding.
[usage and dosage] oral administration: Yanmo Weisan, 0.8-1 Qian; or Jiantang, 2-3 Qian. External use: grind the end to apply or decoct to wash.
[selected formula] ① for sore throat: Qumai, caowuye and jilingcao are equally divided. The total is fine. Eight to one yuan per serving, fried in water, served with dregs, warm or boiled water, twice a day.
② Treatment of congestive swelling: chicken feather grass appropriate, decoction wash the affected area.
