[plant morphology] Auricularia cordata
Perennial herbs. The rhizome is stout, densely covered with brown Tricholoma, with many fibrous roots. Leaves basal, homocordate, 7-12 cm long, 6-10 cm wide, apex short, pointed, base heart-shaped, extending into wings, leaf margin sparsely spiny teeth, veins finely reticulate, protruding on both sides, glabrous; petiole 10-20 cm long. Flower stems 1-2, about 1 m high, about 3 mm in diameter, thin cylindrical, densely covered with white trichomes on the upper end; inflorescence 3-5 clusters, white on both sides of the top of the flower stem; inflorescence base with a bract, linear oblanceolate. Achenes oblanceolate, brown, hairy, corolla pinnate.
