Evergreen shrubs, about 1 m high. The stem is erect, with many branches. The branchlets are reddish brown to dark brown, yellow pilose when young, and shed when old. Leaves alternate, obovate to obovate, oblong, 4-10 mm long, 3.5-7 mm wide, apex obtuse, a few concave or acute, base broadly cuneate, entire, glabrous or sparsely pilose above, gray pubescent below; petiole 1-2 mm long, pubescent.
