Shrub like rattan, 4-5 meters high, or climbing on big trees, up to 8 meters high. Branchlets often hooked or spiral. It has 9-13 leaflets, oblong or oblong, 15-19 mm in length and 6-9 mm in width. The apex is obtuse and slightly concave, the base is cuneate or round, and the lower part is covered with pubescence.
