[plant morphology] shuichaoyang
It is a perennial herb, 50-100 cm high, with coarse hairs on the whole plant. The roots are numerous and clustered. Stem erect, upper end branched, green and stained with purple spots. Single leaf alternate, leaf ovate lanceolate or long elliptic, 3.5-7 cm long, 1.5-3 cm wide, apex acuminate, base broadly cuneate, leaf margin serrate, veins protruding on the back, lateral veins 5-6 pairs; petiole short, base clasping stem. Inflorescence terminal; involucre hemispherical, bracts 3-4 row, linear lanceolate, hairy; ligulate yellow, linear, apex 3-toothed; tubular yellow, bisexual. Achene long and narrow, angulate, corolla bristly. It blooms in summer.
Born on the edge of wet field and roadside. It is distributed in Yunnan, Sichuan and other places.
