[plant morphology] Lycoris radiata
Perennial herbs. Bulb broad ovate, white, only as big as jujube, outer membrane. Leaf root, slender, tubular, soft and slightly ribbed, green, about 30 cm long. The stem is 30-60 cm long, with many purple black bulbils at the top of the stem; the umbel is terminal; the bracts are 2, ovate, membranous; the flowers are small, perianth 6, ovate lanceolate, apex obtuse, white, or with purple dorsal line; stamens 6, ovate, anthers oblong; ovary superior, 3-locular, style filiform. Capsule, loculicidal. The seeds are black. It blooms in summer.
Born in the wild. It is distributed all over the country.
