[synonym] rongzuci (manual of Chinese herbal medicine, Jinjiang, Fujian), yangmeicigen (economic plant in Yunnan).

[source] it is the root of the leguminous plant yazao tree. See the "yazao bark" for plant morphology.

[collection] it can be harvested all year round, fresh or dried in the sun.

[function indications] antiphlogistic, purulent. Treatment of tuberculosis, tuberculous abscess, arthritis.

[prescription selection] 1. To treat pulmonary tuberculosis: take fresh duck Sapindus Sapindus rhizome for five to eight cents, fried in water. For the weak, take tofu or chicken or duck, once a day.

② Treatment of tuberculous purulent carbuncle: fresh duck soap root two Liang. Pus thin add chicken, duck stew service, pus thick add tofu stew service.
