[plant morphology] Rumex Rumex, also known as Bauhinia chinensis (Tianbao materia medica), is a kind of Rumex Rumex.

Perennial herbs, 50-100 cm high. The root is thick, yellow and sour. Stem erect, usually unbranched, shallowly sulcate. Leaves lanceolate or oblong lanceolate, 12-28 cm long, 2-4.5 cm wide, apex short acuminate, base gradually narrowed, margin wavy fold, both sides glabrous; stipules membranous, tubular, often ruptured. Flowers numerous, gathered in leaf axils, or form a short raceme, forming a long and narrow panicle; perianth 6, two rounds, persistent; stamen 6; stigma 3, brush shaped, achene triangular, sharp edge, 2 mm long, brown luster; perianth broadly ovate, apex obtuse, entire or with inconspicuous teeth, 3-4 mm long and width, with an ovate nodular process. The flowering and fruiting period is from June to August.

Born in the wetland, riverbank and beside Shuidian. It is distributed in Guangxi, Taiwan, Fujian, Sichuan, Qinghai, Gansu, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Shandong, Hebei, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, etc.

Anti tumor effect
