Herbs perennial, twining, slender, with milk. The root tubers are fleshy, white and ovoid. Leaves simple, alternate or opposite, broadly linear lanceolate, 3-5 cm long and 0.5-1 cm wide, apex acuminate, base rounded. Flowers solitary at the top of stem, blue, bell shaped; calyx, petals each 5-lobed; stamens 5; ovary inferior. Capsule.
Born in pine forest, miscellaneous wood forest. It is distributed in Yunnan and other places.
