Deciduous trees. The bark is grayish white and scales. The leaflets are 5-21, oval lanceolate, and vary greatly in size. The petioles and veins are densely covered with rust colored villi. The Samara is about 3 cm long. 1 seed. The fruit period is from September to November.

It grows under the hillside forest or near the bamboo forest. It is distributed in Yunnan and other places.

It is cool in nature and bitter in taste.

[function indications] astringent, anti-inflammatory. Treatment of refractory diarrhea, dysentery, ascariasis.

[usage and dosage] oral administration: decoct soup, 3-5 yuan; or grind powder.

[selection] ① for intractable diarrhea: Tiaopi plus three to five peppers. Take it with water for a long time.

② Treatment of excess heat and stool dryness: Tiaoshi tree powder, boiled water, five to one money, can be laxative.
