Perennial herbs. The rhizome is stout. The root leaves are ovate or obovate lanceolate, 10-17 cm long and 3-6 cm wide. The flower stem is about 20 cm high, covered with white Tricholoma, the florets are arranged in umbrella shape, with a stalk; the base of the flower stalk has a pair of bracts, broad ovate, about 1.5 cm long, embracing the stem; the sepals are 5, connected at the base.
