Perennial herbs. The rhizome is stout. The root leaves are ovate or obovate lanceolate, 10-17 cm long and 3-6 cm wide. The apex is obtuse, the base is gradually narrowed, extending into a stalk, the whole or undulate, both sides are hairy, thick and rough. The flower stem is about 20 cm high, covered with white Tricholoma, the florets are arranged in umbrella shape, with a stalk; the base of the flower stalk has a pair of bracts, broad ovate, about 1.5 cm long, embracing the stem; the sepals are 5, connected at the base. Lobes linear lanceolate; corolla base tubular, lobes 2-lipped, pale pink; stamens 2-developed, stamens 2-undeveloped; ovary 2-locular. Capsule linear, ca. 5 cm long, yellowish brown, apex pointed. The seeds are numerous.
Born in the mountain stone crevice wet place. It is distributed in Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Sichuan and Hubei.
