[plant morphology] Pleurotus eryngii
Perennial herbs. Rhizome slender, with many fibrous roots. The leaves are basal, fleshy, oblong or obovate elliptic, 13-25 cm long and 3.5-6 cm wide, with a small apex at the apex; the petioles are more or less amplexicaul. The inflorescence is terminal, with several or only 1-2 flowers, white flowers, 6 perianth segments, separated; stamens are 6; ovary is 2-3-chambered, with more than 2 ovules in each chamber, and berry is blue or blue black.
