One powder: take the dried leaves of tiger and grind them into fine powder and sterilize them at low temperature. For trauma and operation bleeding, appropriate amount can be sprinkled on the bleeding place and pressed for a few minutes to stop bleeding. Take orally 10-15g per day, once or in parts. Two tablets: decoct the whole herb twice, add the fine powder of tiger leaves when it is concentrated to be sticky, and press it into tablets. Each tablet is equivalent to 1g dry leaves of tiger. For gastrointestinal bleeding, 9-15 tablets per day, 1-3 times. Trihydrate: concentrate extracted with water, 10 grams per milliliter. It can be used for trauma and operation bleeding, and sterilized gauze can be used to force or fill the bleeding place. Four injections: each milliliter is equivalent to 2 mg of alcohol precipitate of tiger. 2 ml for intramuscular bleeding. It can also be used for external use. 43 cases of traumatic hemorrhage were treated with powder and water injection. Except 3 cases were ineffective, all cases were stopped quickly. Thirty two cases of upper gastrointestinal ulcer complicated with hemorrhage were treated with powder (or tablet). After 3-7 days, 31 cases turned yellow and 1 case failed. There were 4 cases of liver cirrhosis complicated with esophageal variceal bleeding, 2 cases of blood stopped after taking medicine, and 2 cases were ineffective. The hemostatic effect of tiger is the best for extensive bleeding and non ligated tissues; if the bleeding surface can be fully contacted with drugs, it will work quickly; otherwise, it will be ineffective; therefore, the curative effect of tiger on gastrointestinal bleeding is not as good as that of traumatic bleeding. There were no adverse reactions, side effects and multiple thrombosis.
