Climbing grass vines. Stem slender, angulate, short spinose. Tendrils unbranched. Leaves alternate, with long stalks, ovate heart-shaped, 3.5-4 cm long, apex acuminate, base heart-shaped, two ears slightly inward curved, margin serrate, with short bristles on the top, and white hairs on the main veins and reticular veins below. Flowers axillary. The fruit is oval, ribbed, green when immature, with verrucous protuberance and white coarse hairs on the surface. Seeds numerous, obovate, smooth, glabrous.
Born in the wild grass slope. It is distributed in Southwest China.
