[plant morphology] rabbitae
Herbaceous perennial, glabrous, 15-30 cm high, with a weak, flat rhizome, most of the leaves rooting, petiolate; linear or linear oblong, 7-10 cm long, entire or with discrete serrations; few stems and leaves, sessile, sometimes slightly clasping. The inflorescence is small, forming a loose, weak, corymbose panicle; the flower is glossy, yellow; the involucre is about 6 mm long, with 8 equal bracts, and the outermost ones are very small; the stamens are 5, attached to the corolla tube; the ovary is inferior, and the stigma is 2-lobed. The achene is slightly flat, with ribbed veins and tiny protrusions. Its beak is about the same length as the fruit body, and its corolla is white. The flowering period is from late spring to early autumn.
Born in the wilderness. It is distributed in the South and northeast of China.
