[source] it is the root and stem bark of the legume Yunshi.
[plant morphology] Yunshi with hairy leaves
Deciduous climbing shrub with hooked spines. Young branches densely brown pubescent, old branches reddish brown. 2-pinnate compound leaves, 20-30 cm long; 3-10 pairs of pinnae, stipitate; 6-9 pairs of leaflets per pinnae. Raceme terminal, 15-30 cm long; flowers yellow, stamens slightly protruding from calyx, pods narrow oblong, 6-10 cm long, nearly woody, slightly curved. Seeds oblong, brown, patterned, ca. 1 cm long. The flowering and fruiting period is August.
Born on the roadside or stream side of plain, hill or low hillside. It is distributed in Shaanxi and other places.
