[plant morphology] Moringa oleifera
Annual herb, 70-80 cm high. The stem is round, striated, slightly hairy, nodes swollen, single leaf opposite, herbaceous, ovoid or lanceolate, ovoid to lanceolate, 3-6.5 cm long, 1.5-4 cm wide, apex acuminate, base wide cuneate to round, green above, light green below, edge with shallow round teeth, basal three veins, veins concave above, convex below. The inflorescence is small, terminal or axillary, with long stalk, a few white ligulate flowers on the periphery, and yellow disk flowers. Achenes horned with scales on top.
Born in a garden, wasteland, or hillside. It is distributed in southwest, Zhejiang and Jiangxi.
