Annual weak herbs. Stem red, base often creeping, many branched. Leaves petiolate, opposite, oblong obovate to spatulate, 2-4.5 cm long, apex short pointed or obtuse, green with reddish purple. Inflorescence axillary, sessile, solitary, ovate or subglobose: hairy.
Born in wetland or cultivated.
