Pedicel about 20-30 cm long, internodes covered with degenerate scales, scales with purplish red veins; raceme; corolla drooping, irregular, 5 pieces, lanceolate, lip 1 piece, white, with purplish red veins, inner surface covered with villi, stamen and pistil forming syncytial column. Fruit oval, many. It blooms in spring.
