[plant morphology] Artemisia annua
Herbs annual, ca. 1 m tall. The stem is slender, the whole plant has long golden hair, the leaves are 12-20, both basal, with long stalks, 6-34 cm in length; the leaves are narrow obovate or oblanceolate, 2.8-18 cm in length, 1.2-3 cm in width, with 3 or 5 main veins, the edge is entire, with short hairs on both sides. Pedicels 1-6, 32-75 cm high, with spreading hispid hairs; flowers solitary, scape tip drooping; petals 4 (~ 6), dark red, narrowly elliptic, 9 cm long, 4 cm wide, apex obtuse; stamens 2.4 cm long, anthers 3.5 mm long, filaments strip, light red; ovary ovate, densely yellow coarse hair, style few, stigma short cylindrical, several edges, wing shaped . Capsule with yellow bristles.
It grows in forest edge, ditch edge, hillside grassland. It is distributed in Northwest Sichuan, Southeast Qinghai and South Gansu.

② Treatment of enteritis: red flower and green velvet wormwood with Sanguisorba officinalis and Capsella bursa pastoris, fried in soup.
③ Treatment of spermatorrhea, leucorrhea, renal edema: red flower, green velvet wormwood with Rubus root, e Shen, stewed meat to eat.
