It is a short perennial herb with white pubescence. The roots are slender with few branches. Leaves clustered at base; leaf blade elliptic or oblanceolate, apex obtuse or obtuse, base attenuate, entire, upper green, lower pink green. Umbelliform inflorescence at the top of stem; stem from the base, slender, 10-15 cm long, green or purplish red; flowers small, pink.
It grows on hillside grassland. Distributed in Tibet and other places.

Bitter, cold.
[function indications] diuresis. Treatment of thermal edema.
[usage and dosage] oral administration: decoction, 1-3 yuan.
