[plant morphology] Corydalis stolonifera
Herbs annual, often white pilose. The stolon is extracted from the basal leaf cluster, rooting everywhere, with new leaves. Leaves tufted, oval or ovate elliptic, 2-7 cm long, 1.5-3 cm wide, margin serrate. Apex obtuse, base narrowly cuneate, rarely heart-shaped, with scattered white hairs on both sides; petiole flat, 1.5-6 cm long, with narrow wings and white hairs on both sides; stipules free, linear lanceolate, margin with long teeth. Flowers pale purple or white, pedicel 5-9 cm long, middle wired bracts 2, above middle nearly glabrous, below middle scattered white hair; sepals 5, lanceolate, margin with white hair, base extended into appendages; petals 5, oblong obovate, lower petal with spur, capsule oblong, about 5 mm long, glabrous. The flowering period is from April to November.
It grows on roadside and wetter land. It is distributed in East China, South China and southwest China.
