The surface is yellowish brown to dark brown, with obvious longitudinal furrows, leaf marks, lateral branch marks or bud marks on the nodes; the texture is hard, the fracture section is fibrous, the skin is easy to peel off, the xylem duct is porous, and there is white pulp in the center. Sometimes the base is slightly with cylindrical rhizome, 12-24 mm in diameter, the surface is gray brown or brown, rough, with longitudinal lines and branch root marks; the texture is hard, the section is powdery, almost white, and the xylem vessel holes are obvious. There is no breath, and the taste is light. It is better to be dry, greenish brown, uniform and thick as little finger.
Produced in Jiangsu Province.
This product is used as Qingfengteng in Jiangsu Province and exported to other provinces.
[chemical constituents] Menispermum dauricum from Northeast China and Japan contains alkaloids kaempferine, tetrandrine, Dauricine and magnolialine. The leaves contain sinomenine, tetrandrine, dicyclopentadine, stephanine and demethoxytetrandrine.
[pharmacological action] Sophora tonkinensis has antihypertensive effect on anesthetized animals, increases pulse wave, and has short-term respiratory excitation. The mechanism of antihypertensive effect is central, and it also has direct dilation effect on blood vessels (0.000001-0.00001 concentration can dilate isolated rabbit ear blood vessels). In addition, the blocking of ganglion (5-10 mg / kg can block the impulse conduction of cat superior cervical ganglion) is undoubtedly a cause of hypotension. Clinically, it is effective for mild patients with hypertension and improves glomerular filtration function, but it is ineffective for severe patients. It can inhibit the contraction of isolated rabbit small intestine and reduce the tension of eutopic intestine. It can also reduce blood cholesterol. The minimum lethal dose of intravenous injection in cats was 35 mg / kg. After administration, animals (especially mice and frogs) showed general excitability, and then showed long-term inhibition.
Dauricine is a quaternary ammonium compound, which has good muscle relaxant effect (rabbit head drop test), and its action property is the same as that of curare. It can also depress blood pressure in dogs, cats and rabbits, and block impulse conduction of superior cervical ganglion in cats, so it is the same as hexahydrocarbon quaternary ammonium (C6). The tension of isolated rabbit intestines was increased, which could be blocked by atropine.
