Perennial herbs, 50-100 cm high. Stem erect, thick, cylindrical, with shallow edges, dense white arachnoid hair, the upper part is dense. Basal leaves with long stalks, kidney or heart-shaped, margin microwave shaped, with sparse shallow teeth, sparsely arachnoid hairs on both sides; cauline leaves smaller, petiole expanded into sheath embracing stem; leaves near inflorescence broad obovate. 5-9 heads, yellow, arranged in corymbose shape; involucre rectangular round, base with 5-7 small involucres, lanceolate; outer whorl ligulate, female; inner whorl bisexual, stamens 5, stigma 2-lobed. Achene, ribbed, with brownish red corolla. The flowering period is from July to October. The fruit period is from September to November.
It was born in the fields, open spaces and sloping fields in the low mountain area. It is distributed in Sichuan and other places.
