He served as the leader of the reconnaissance brigade in the 115th division of Lin Biao's Eighth Route Army. He was deeply appreciated by Dai Li and served as the person in charge of military unification in North China for a long time.
When the Kuomintang defeated Taiwan, Jiang Jieshi was reused and had the name of "living hell" in Taiwan Island, specializing in the subversion and infiltration of the Chinese mainland. In order to assassinate Zhou Enlai, Gu Wenwen participated in the planning of the famous Kashmir Princess incident. In addition, he also had a festival with Lee Teng Hui.
On January 25, 2007, Gu Wenwen died in Taipei Hospital at the age of 97.
Life of the characters
Early experience
In 1910, he was born in Jiazhuang, Fenyang Road, Shanxi Province. He had five brothers and was the eldest in his family. When he was young, he studied in Fenyang middle school.
In 1931, when he was admitted to Peking University, he was determined to study. However, after the September 18th Incident, the country was in danger and the situation was difficult. The size of North China made it impossible to put down a quiet desk. As a result, Gu Wenwen, like millions of patriotic young students, turned to the patriotic movement of students and became the Secretary of the CPC Committee for student movement in Beiping. Later, he was transferred to the 115th division of the Eighth Route Army as the leader of a certain brigade.
Spy on the sea
Gu Wenwen was arrested and imprisoned in the KMT's cell when he was on a mission. Only then did he join the KMT's secret service, the military Bureau of unification, and become an agent of the military Bureau in North China. Gu Wenwen himself said that in 1935, he joined the Bureau of military statistics when he was studying Chinese at Peking University, and Dai Li would send one person to contact him every month. After the July 7th incident, he and more than 20 exiled students from Peking came to Jinan to form a "Shandong government Education Hall drama team" led by the northern Bureau of the Communist Party of China. Later, he joined the guerrilla work behind the enemy and was captured by the Japanese army. After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, he returned to the Bureau of military statistics again. However, people familiar with the matter revealed that Gu Wenwen's army was a non military "political propaganda brigade", which was actually a drama performance team. Later, it was renamed the soldier drama club. In 1941, he did a lot of bad things that brought disaster to the country and the people. Later, he took refuge under Dai Li, the Kuomintang military commander.
In 1931, after the September 18th Incident, he joined the party secretly and became an active member of the student movement. He was once Secretary of the CPC Beiping Student Movement Committee.
In 1937, after the outbreak of the Anti Japanese War, he joined the army and served as the captain of the reconnaissance brigade of general Lin Biao's 115th division. Later, he was arrested while carrying out the mission and became a military commander in the revolutionary rebellion. Because of his "studious" and his understanding of North China, he was praised by Dai Li, the intelligence chief of the Kuomintang, and was promoted to "leader of the special service group in Peking". Since then, from the Anti Japanese War to the liberation of the mainland, Gu Wenwen has been in charge of the military unification of North China.
In 1946, Dai Li died in a plane crash. In a hurry, Chiang ordered Mao Renfeng, the Secretary General of the Bureau of military affairs and statistics, to take over as the director. When Mao Renfeng counted Dai Li's relics, he found that Dai Li wrote in his diary: "Guo Tongzhen read a lot, so he can be of great use." From then on, "Guo Tongzhen" was looked at differently. For this reason, after the KMT retreated to Taiwan, Gu Wenwen was highly valued by Mao Renfeng. For a period of time, he was directly under the leadership of Chiang Kai Shek, which was the most handy period in his spy career.
At that time, Chiang Kai Shek clamored all day long that "one year's preparation, two years' counter offensive, three years' mopping up and five years' success" would boost his morale. " At that time, Gu Wenwen was not only the "captain of the investigation and defense group of the security bureau", but also the "deputy commander in chief of the long live motherland Salvation Army" of Mazu island. The "commander-in-chief" is empty, and there is no one on it. According to Gu Wenwen, although the "commander-in-chief" is empty, it is actually Chiang Kai Shek himself. Gu Wenwen's office, called "qiushizhai", is located deep in the green mountains and fields near Taipei. It is his secret headquarters for counter offensive intelligence activities on the mainland. He abandoned the "secret service" regular way of training secret agents and the channel of recruiting personnel. He selected "manufacturable materials" from thousands of single refugees from the mainland to Taiwan and sent them to the "secret intelligence base" near the "blue sky bathing beach" in the suburbs of Taipei to receive intelligence training. In addition to the basic swimming and diving training, the training mainly includes blasting, assassination, fighting, communication and some easy to learn intelligence skills. In just a few months, after training a number of people, they can be sent to "counter attack the mainland.". During that time, from Shandong Peninsula in the north to Hainan Island in the south, Taiwan's "intelligence agency" carried out wave after wave of "counter offensive" operations under the instigation of Gu Wenwen. However, it is difficult to form a climate. In the later stage of these spy activities, the nature of violence dropped sharply, and they were replaced by some symbolic tasks. For example, the spy was sent to the coastal cities of the mainland for a few days. After the agents returned to Taiwan, Gu Wenwen arranged for Chiang Kai Shek to meet them. At this time, the agents would take out the film ticket stub of the mainland, or the train ticket, food ticket and other certificates of the mainland, let Chiang Kai Shek have a look, and amuse the "old man". There have been a lot of bloodshed.
However, from 1950 to the early 1970s, Gu Wenwen personally led the execution of several appalling assassinations. One of the most praised by Chiang Kai Shek is the "Kashmir Princess" plane crash. If Premier Zhou Enlai didn't change his itinerary temporarily, he almost got on the dead plane and became a ghost in the air. In 1995, Taiwan's "China Times" magazine published an article on Gu Wentan's plan to assassinate Zhou Enlai. At that time, Gu Wenwen, who was the head of the investigation and defense team of Taiwan's "Security Bureau", admitted that the "Kashmir Princess" incident was the work of Taiwan secret agents.
According to the October 2005 issue of Phoenix Weekly, Gu Wenwen was in Taiwan "under the direct leadership of Chiang Kai Shek for a period of time". He once served as "deputy commander in chief of Mazu island's" anti Communist and save the national army ", and the commander in chief was Chiang Kai Shek himself"; he also served as "director of the special service department of the military intelligence bureau of the Ministry of national defense", "chief inspector of major general", and still served as "adviser of the military intelligence bureau of the Ministry of national defense" after retirement. Gu's main activities in Taiwan include cracking down the underground organizations of the Communist Party and "investigating the bandit spy cases involving more than 2000 people", training "the death squads to harass the mainland" and claiming that "the most unwilling thing for Mr. Jiang in his later years is that his thousands of generals are shining with stars. Only I and the 600 strong men who fought back to attack the dead make him feel a little relieved." He even masterminded the bombing of the "Kashmir Princess" plane to "assassinate Zhou Enlai", which killed 11 Chinese and foreign journalists of the Chinese delegation attending the Bandung Conference. Gu said: "am I a bad person? He said, "what's the difference between killing people and killing pigs?" It can be seen that this man, who is called "spy sea owl hero", is a real-life cold faced killer. After the publication of the article, domestic insiders confirmed that Gu Wenwen was not only his self proclaimed "anti Communist hero", but also his ugly history of treason to the enemy and traitors.
Beiping spy war
In 1946, when the civil war was about to break out, Dai Li went to Beiping to appoint Gu Wenwen as the "leader of the special service group in Beiping". Gu Wenwen said in his autobiography that the intelligence struggle in Peiping at that time was actually a struggle between him and Liu Ren, director of the city industry department of the northern Bureau of the Communist Party of China. In the winter of 1946, he used a snitch to break the underground radio station of the Communist Party of China in the fourth courtyard of Beiping table leg. The communication range of the radio station was all over Shenyang, Chahar, Zhangjiakou, Xi'an and even Shanghai. Li Zhengxuan later provided a list of organizations, including Xie Shiyan, director of the sun Lianzhong division of the 12th theater of war, Yu Xinqing, director of the Gao Shen office, two lieutenant generals and 17 major generals.
Gu Wenwen claimed that he was not an easy judge by his appearance, but when he first saw Xie Shiyan, he was shocked by his calm and awe inspiring momentum. At that time, he was waiting to be interrogated in the first detention center of Peking. Two criminal policemen brought Xie Shiyan into the torture room one by one. When Xie Shiyan's resolute eyes looked around, Gu Wenwen hesitated and found an excuse for himself, and then "fled" from the back door.
The next morning, the two met again. Gu Wenwen personally made a cup of coffee for Xie Shiyan, which was the beginning of this special conversation. He said: "usually I only drink coffee alone, and only when I meet someone I appreciate, I will drink together." Xie Shiyan nodded and said, "if you are in the Communist Party, you must be an outstanding intelligence cadre." And I'm surprised at this way of interrogation. Gu Wenwen asked: "you are the favorite student of the leader (Chiang Kai Shek). If this happens, the consequences will be very serious. Are you afraid of death?"
Xie Shiyan firmly replied: "no! It's no use threatening me with death. For me, there is only difference between regret and no regret in death! I think you are a rare person with intelligence talent in the Kuomintang. Therefore, I believe you must understand that the staff of the Communist Party of China have penetrated into all levels of the Kuomintang government and army. This is why I don't feel sorry for death. Let's say that after one Xie Shiyan died, there will be more Xie Shiyan. The dead Xie Shiyan can't complete the task, and the living Xie Shiyan will complete I have been in the Kuomintang army for many years and experienced many social strata, so I have the right to criticize it for having no future. As for the Communist Party, I at least appreciate its vitality, enthusiasm, organization and the ideal of building a new China. Therefore, I choose the party I admire. What's more, I think the Kuomintang is
