Main contributions
Main achievement introduction: the author of "towards balance in agglomeration: An Empirical Study on the coordinated development of urban and rural economy and regional economy in China" (Peking University Press, 2010 Edition) put forward the policy idea of realizing the balanced development among regions by means of the full free flow of factors while giving full play to the effect of economic agglomeration. The National Social Science Fund Project "Economic Research on city harmonious development: social satisfaction, income distribution and urban rural integration" is a presided account of the national social science fund project. It analyzes the adverse effects of the registered residence system on the reduction of residents' satisfaction and the expansion of income distribution. Based on the background of globalization, the project "local government behavior, market segmentation and regional development: theory, empirical study and policy" sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China analyzes the evolution of market segmentation since China's reform and its impact on China's regional economic development. He has been a senior visiting scholar of St. Anthony college, Oxford University, UK, a senior visiting scholar of Idei in Toulouse, France, and a visiting scholar of the World Institute of development economics, UNU.
