Production steps:
Step 1: wash the glutinous rice and soak it in cold water for more than 4 hours
Step 2: clean the fresh lotus root, scrape off the skin and cut it 2-3cm away from the top

Note: when choosing lotus root, you must choose 2 non ventilated ones, so that you can avoid the sludge inside. When boiling lotus root, you can add some sugar and sweet osmanthus to increase the flavor. Don't load rice on the cut part, otherwise it will explode. Mine will explode without loading rice. The cooked glutinous rice lotus root tastes better when chilled in the refrigerator
