Congee with Nuts and Dried Fruits
Introduction:
"The eighth day of the twelfth lunar month, commonly known as Laba, many places have to boil Laba porridge on this day. Laba porridge with a variety of food and together, and rice cooking a pot, is the meaning of all things together. There are many kinds of Laba porridge in China. The earliest Laba porridge was cooked with red beans. Later, it became rich and colorful with local characteristics. On the evening of the seventh day of the twelfth lunar month, people begin to be busy, washing rice, soaking fruit, peeling, peeling and picking. Then it starts to cook in the middle of the night, and then it is stewed with low heat until the next morning, when the Laba porridge is cooked
Production steps:
Step 1: prepare the rice and soak it for 8 hours.
Step 2: prepare 20 grams of Jiangdou, 20 grams of huadou, 20 grams of peanut, 20 grams of almond and 10 grams of wolfberry.
Step 3: peel and slice pumpkin.
Step 4: prepare 6 Ejiao dates.
Step 5: soak Jiangdou and huadou for 8 hours.
Step 6: wash the peanuts, rice, almonds and medlar and pour them into the casserole.
Step 7: pour the pumpkin, Jiangdou, huadou, glutinous rice and ejiaozao into the pot.
Step 8: add water to bring to a boil, turn the heat down, and you can have porridge in three hours.

Peanuts: 20g
Ejiaozao: 6
Almonds: 20g
Wolfberry: 10g
Note: using pressure cooker will save time and effort.
