There are various forms of Chinese drum dance, which are widely distributed. There are many kinds of dances. Among them, the more typical forms are waist drum dance, broken drum dance, flower drum dance, wood drum dance, long drum dance, flat drum dance, copper drum dance, dragon drum dance, fan drum dance, yellow mud drum dance, elephant foot dance, monkey drum dance, flower whip dance, bamboo drum dance, Bell Dance, sheep skin dance and so on.
Huacymbal Dagu, also known as "huacymbal for children of Leiyin Shenghui", is popular in houniufang village, Xiaotangshan Town, Changping District, Beijing. Huacymbal Dagu originated in Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty. It is a kind of folk children's dance with highly unified drum and cymbal dance. In the flower cymbal drum, drum, cymbal and dance are the same, and the sound, emotion and appearance are highly unified. Drums are used for conducting and accompaniment instruments; cymbals are used for accompaniment and dance props. In the performance, the drum brings the sound of cymbals, and the cymbals chase the drum beat. The music rhythm is mainly three beats, but also changes, lively and natural. The dance runs through the whole process with the rhythm of knee tremor. The movements are flowing and complete at one go, showing the characteristics of naive and lively children.
Huacymbal drum performance is flexible in form, rich in dance vocabulary, and can compile a variety of performance routines; the performance lineup is very flexible, ranging from two people to thousands of people; the performance sequence does not stick to one pattern, the time can be long or short, and the venue is not fixed. It can be performed on the flat ground, on the dance stage, or on the road. No matter what changes, the performance routines can be closely linked, so that natural flow, complete unity.
Flower cymbal drum is an indispensable characteristic branch of folk dance art, which has the research value of folk dance art and folk culture, and can provide the basis for the innovation of national art. Huacymbal drum has been handed down for a long time in Beijing. In 1875, after the second meeting, the heads of the Five Dynasties were Hao Wenliang, Gao Yi, Hao Chunfang, Hao Chunlin, Gao Ruchang and Hao Weidong. In recent years, the huacymbal drum in houniufang village is in crisis due to the lack of sorting out of its technical score and the aging of the meeting leader and the old artists.
