Jielong percussion music is a kind of folk instrumental music in Jielong Town, Banan District, Chongqing. It was formally formed in the late Ming Dynasty. After more than 400 years of spreading, Jielong has made great progress. It has three categories of percussion music, percussion music and percussion singing, and seven varieties of Yaxi tune, Xiahe tune, Qingshan tune, kunci tune, Jiaoyi tune, Jiangjun Gong and drum, and accompaniment dance Gong and drum, with 983 pieces of music. Jielong mainly plays the big card, chaopai, jiangjunling, shuilongyin, nanluo, liuyaoling, fengrushong and so on. There are more than 260 music classes and nearly 2000 musicians in Banan District of Chongqing. There are 26 ancient musical instruments with more than 100 years of history, four of which are more than 200 years old. The troupe not only often takes part in the local people's wedding and funeral ceremonies, but also has organized groups (teams) to participate in the city, district (county) competition performances for many times, and has been made into feature films by the District, city, central and Taiwan TV stations for national and overseas broadcast. At the same time, he also published about 800000 words of "Jielong percussion music" and more than 200000 words of "new rhyme of rural music: Selected Papers of Jielong percussion music". In 1991, Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Culture named Jielong town as "the hometown of folk percussion music". In 1999, Jielong percussion music was named as "one of the top ten folk arts in Bayu".

Jielong percussion music, which has rich repertoire, many musicians in the music class, and synchronous development of theoretical research and artistic practice, is unique in Bayu percussion music.
