Tieling town
Tieling town is located in the southeast of Yangming District, Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province, with convenient transportation and rich natural resources. Now it has jurisdiction over 5 communities and 11 village committees. Industrial development is mainly in mechanical processing, electrical products, wood processing, building materials, packaging processing, agricultural products processing and other industries. In the face of the new situation, Tieling town leaders adhere to the implementation of urbanization strategy, promote the construction and development of small towns, focus on promoting rural urbanization, gradually change the current situation of urban-rural dual structure, and strive to achieve the coordinated development of urban-rural integration in Tieling town.
Tieling town is only separated from Mudanjiang City by a river, bordering modaoshi town of Muling City in the East, Xinglong town of Dong'an District in the south, Hualin town in the north and urban area across the river in the West. It has an area of 285.5 square kilometers (2017), 11 administrative villages, one sub District Office (under the jurisdiction of 10 neighborhood committees), and 40854 people (2017). The total area of rural cultivated land is 44200 mu, including 6700 mu of vegetable field and 6825 mu of paddy field. In 2005, the per capita income of farmers reached 3445 yuan. Tieling town has a superior geographical location. National roads 301 and 201 pass through the town. The Aihe station of binsui railway is located in the town.
Historical evolution
Tieling town is a historical ancient city on the Bank of Mudanjiang River. It is an important military area. It is a place for military strategists to fight for and the east gate to defend Mudanjiang River. Tieling town was once known as Yehe, also known as tielinghe town; formerly known as Kent River, also known as telehun, which means Shangtou River in Manchu. In 1891, there were only 17 families. In 1898, the village was established, and then it was changed to Tieling River according to the Chinese homonym. Since the mid Qing Dynasty, there have been troops stationed. Since 1900, tsarist Russia and Japanese aggressors have been stationed in this area. The people of Tieling area have always been in dire straits, suffering from burning coals. Before liberation, the biggest prison and "mass grave" in Mudanjiang, which imprisoned and slaughtered Chinese people, was at the foot of the north mountain of Tieling town. Yehe district was set up when the puppet government established the city in December 1937. After liberation, it was renamed Tieling District, later known as commune and township. In 1962, it was established in the suburbs, which were under the jurisdiction of the suburbs. In April 1985, Tieling township was renamed Tieling town. In 1997, Tieling town and its 17 villages were transferred to Yangming district. In 2002, 17 villages were merged into 11 villages.

In 2005, the total industrial output value of the town was 402.9 million yuan, the added value was 128.5 million yuan, the operating revenue was 37.7 million yuan, the profit was 14.6 million yuan, and the full caliber financial revenue was 29.81 million yuan. In the past three years, Tieling town has attracted 42.1 million yuan of investment, including 16 new enterprises and 14 reconstruction and expansion enterprises. Haifeng Wood Industry Co., Ltd., Zhonglong Food Co., Ltd., red sun nutrition catering company, Jinyuan oil factory, shantaixin decorative board factory and other enterprises have been established.

The main tasks of village and town construction in 2018 and during the "Eleventh Five Year Plan" period are to build a wood industry park covering an area of 7 square kilometers on the basis of Sanan road to Sidao village in the south of national highway 301 and the original one, build a 1900 meter extension of national highway 301 and install 120 street lamps of national highway 301 Construction of Jianshe street, with a road surface of 2000 meters and Tuanjie street, with a road surface of 3000 meters. During the 11th Five Year Plan period, Tieling town plans to build a new Tieling Nanshan Wood Industry Park and a resettlement Park in Tieling town. The wood industry park covers an area of 7 square kilometers. By 2010, 20 wood processing enterprises will be introduced into the park, with annual sales revenue of 100 million yuan, profit of 4 million yuan and tax of 3 million yuan. By 2020, there will be more than 60 wood enterprises, with annual sales revenue of 500 million yuan, profits of 80 million yuan and taxes of 50 million yuan. There are 2300 households in the park, and the residents with an area of 500000 square meters plan to move to the new resettlement Park in Tieling town. during the 11th Five Year Plan period, it is planned to build Tieling River Qiaotou square, with a planned land area of 200000 square meters, including 39500 square meters of roads, 39600 square meters of pavement, 109650 square meters of greening and 7400 square meters of water surface. The total planned investment is 30 million yuan. 13 white hardened roads with a total length of 66.3km have been built, benefiting 11 administrative villages, with a total investment of 71.901 million yuan, including 16.575 million yuan invested by the state and the province, and 1.326 million yuan invested by the local government.
