BeiChu town
BeiChu Town, belonging to Yuanshi County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Yuanshi County, bordering Zhaotong Township in the East, Suyang Township in the south, nanzuo town in the West and Yincun town in the north, with an administrative area of 48.22 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, BeiChu Township belonged to Huquan society; in 1984, BeiChu township was changed; in 1996, Wucun township was merged; on April 30, 2014, BeiChu township was abolished and BeiChu town was established. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in North Chu town was 24056. As of June 2020, BeiChu town has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in BeiChu village.
In 2011, the total revenue of BeiChu town was 5.4 million yuan, an increase of 18% over the previous year, including 2.15 million yuan of local tax and 3.25 million yuan of national tax. In 2018, BeiChu town had 18 industrial enterprises and 31 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, BeiChu Township belonged to Huquan society.
During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to five districts of Yuanshi County.
In 1937, it belonged to the northern district.
In 1945, it belonged to four districts.
In June 1953, it belonged to three districts and set up BeiChu township.
In 1958, the two counties of Yuanshi and Gaoyi were merged into Gaoyuan County, belonging to Gaoyuan County; in December of the same year, Zanhuang county was merged into Gaoyuan county and renamed Yuanshi County, belonging to Guiyin village commune of Yuanshi County.
In 1962, the northern Chu commune was founded; in the same year, the three counties of Yuanshi, Gaoyi and Zanhuang were divided into Yuanshi County.
In 1984, it was changed to BeiChu township.
In 1996, Wucun township was incorporated.
On April 30, 2014, BeiChu township was abolished and BeiChu town was established.

The town people's government is located in BeiChu village.
