Yatunpu town
Yatunbu Town, subordinate to Tongdao Dong Autonomous County, Huaihua City, Hunan Province, is located in the west of Tongdao Dong Autonomous County, adjacent to Shuangjiang town in the East, Dupo town in the south, Linxi Township, Sanjiang County, Guangxi Province, dagaoping Township in the west, Xianxi town and qingwuzhou town in the North. It is the junction axis of Hunan, Guangxi and Guizhou provinces, and the southwest gateway of Tongdao County. It is known as "the gateway of three provinces".
There are many peaks in yatunbu town. There are three peaks above 800 meters above sea level. Lengshuipo, the highest peak, is 925 meters above sea level. The yatunpu river runs through the whole territory for about 15 kilometers. Jiaozhou Liuzhou railway runs through the territory, 11 kilometers long, with yatunbu railway station. The town is named after yatunbu village, where it is located. Yatunbu railway station is located in Xinzhen district. It is the intersection of Nanning Railway Bureau and Guangzhou Railway Bureau. It is one of the four major import and export stations in Hunan Province. All freight trains stop here. It is one of the important material distribution centers in the county. Besides, gengshui highway is connected with national highway 209, so the traffic is convenient. The main local products are the buried carp raised in paddy fields in Tongping and qiaozhai, and the bitter wine brewed by Dong family glutinous rice. The meat of buried carp is fresh and tender, and the bitter wine has unique flavor and sweet in bitter. They are all good products for hospitality.
Historical evolution
Yatunbu town is named after yatunbu village. Yatunpu village was under the jurisdiction of Liping County, Guizhou Province before liberation, and was transferred to Tongdao County in 1951. In 1952, the second district government was stationed in yatunbu by Tian family. Yatunbu township was established in 1956, changed to yatunbu commune in 1958, and changed to yatunbu Township in 1984. In May 1996, with the approval of the Provincial Department of civil affairs, yatunbu town was established. At the same time, the original tuantou township was withdrawn and merged into the town. Now the town government is stationed in tousuo village. There are 1 health center, 18 medical staff, 20 beds, 23 village clinics, and 19355 people participating in the new rural cooperative medical system, with the participation rate of 87.2%. There is a town run junior high school, a central primary school, 520 middle school students, 1522 primary school students, 150 teaching staff. There is a nursing home with 22 elderly people. Cable TV has been opened in 23 villages of the town, rural power grid transformation has been completed in 23 villages, program-controlled telephone has been opened in 23 villages, and 10 mobile phone base stations have been built in the town. The total area of the town is 179.7 square kilometers (269575.3 mu), including 24326.3 mu of cultivated land and 213926.6 mu of forest land, with a forest coverage rate of 57%. It has jurisdiction over 23 administrative villages, 1 neighborhood committee and 166 villager groups. In 2007, there were 3338 households with 22076 people. In 2010, there were 3801 households with 22143 people. Dong, Han and Miao people live together. The Dong population accounts for more than 90% of the total population. In 1996, the GDP was 20.92 million yuan, 32.2813 million yuan in 2007 and 52.23 million yuan in 2010. The per capita net income of farmers was 429 yuan in 1996, 843 yuan in 2007 and 3500 yuan in 2010. as of 2017, the town (township) has a total administrative area of 179.09 square kilometers and a permanent population of 16850.
Urban construction
In 1996, tuantou Township and yatunbu Township merged to build a new town. Since 1997, a new town has been built to the east of the railway station, which is 2km away from the old town. In that year, the three links and one leveling project was completed, and three buildings were built. By 2007, the section from yatunbu bridge to the railway station has formed a block, with a street length of more than 300m and a road width of 18m, including a lane width of 10m and a street width of 18m There are more than 70 buildings and 180 commercial shops in Liangxiang, with a total construction area of 44500 square meters, including 20500 square meters of public buildings, 24000 square meters of residential buildings and 12 square meters of per capita living area in the town.
