Baodian Township, belonging to qiangoluosi Mongolian Autonomous County, Songyuan City, Jilin Province, is located in the middle of qiangoluosi Mongolian Autonomous County, 35 kilometers away from the people's Government of qiangoluosi Mongolian Autonomous County; it borders on ERU Township and Hongquan Township in the East, Changlong Township in the south, haiborigo town in the West and taohaotai Township in the north. The total administrative area is 143.74 square kilometers.
In October 1988, Baodian township was established in 8 villages of Haotai township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Bao Dian township was 14200. As of June 2020, Baodian rural area has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Baodian township was 390 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 5893 yuan. History of construction
In October 1988, Baodian township was established in 8 villages of Haotai township: Gudian village, qujiaweizi village, Jubaoshan village, xiluojiaweizi village, erdaoliangzi village, jiucaituozi village, kaoshaoshan village and Qingshan village.

History and culture
Because of the jurisdiction of Jubaoshan village and Gudian village, two villages are chosen respectively, one of which is "Bao" and "dian". Because of the large area of grassland in the jurisdiction, "dian" and "dian" have the same pronunciation (Dian: meadow, meaning grassland), so it is called Baodian township.
