On December 13, 2019, the Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Liangshan Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in six counties (cities), including Xichang City (Chuanfu Civil Affairs [2019] No. 18): set up Gucheng street, which includes Dongguan community, Xiguan community, Minzhu Lane community, Gongyuan Road community, Guangchang Road community, Xijie community, Laojie village, Dongsheng Village, Nanjiao village and Maoxi village The administrative area is under the jurisdiction of Gucheng street.
