Gaomo Township
Gaomo Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Yi County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the east of Yi County, bordering Gaoli township of Dingxing County in the East, lingyunce Township in the south, Yizhou town in the West and Qiaotou Township in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 12.8 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 9.1 kilometers, with a total area of 67.32 square kilometers. In late 2018, the total population of Gao Mo Township registered residence was 49876.
In 1961, Gaomo commune was established. In 1984, it was changed to Gaomo township. In 1989, Baifu township was incorporated. As of June 2020, Gaomo township has jurisdiction over 29 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Gaomo village. There are yanxiadu relics in the territory.
In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Gaomo township was 140 million yuan, and the total fiscal revenue was 8.12 million yuan, an increase of 10% over the previous year. The local fiscal revenue was 2.13 million yuan, an increase of 18% over the previous year. In 2018, Gaomo Township had 5 industrial enterprises and 71 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
