Erdaojiang township is located in Erdaojiang District, Tonghua City, Jilin Province. It is located in the west of Erdaojiang District, 15 kilometers away from the city center. It borders on Yayuan town in the East, Jiangdong Township in the south, Hulutao town in Tonghua County in the West and Guanghua Township in Tonghua County in the North, with a total area of 101.48 square kilometers.
In 1900, Erdaojiang Township belonged to dashengbaoding new village. In March 1983, Erdaojiang commune was changed into Erdaojiang township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of two road township was 7779. As of June 2020, Erdaojiang township has jurisdiction over five administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located at No. 66, Dongwen Road, Erdaojiang district.
In 2018, Erdaojiang Township had 73 industrial enterprises, including 7 Enterprises above Designated Size and 18 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1900, Erdaojiang belonged to the new village of dashengbaoding. In 1909, dashengbao was divided into six townships, and Erdaojiang belonged to Jiangdong township.
In 1923, Jiangdong township was divided into eight districts, under which there were villages; Erdaojiang belonged to Zuojiang village, the Second District, with a village office. In 1935, the Japanese puppets set up "dongbiandao Development Co., Ltd." in Erdaojiang District, which was directly under Tonghua province.
In March 1953, Erdaojiang township was established.
In February 1974, the Revolutionary Committee of dongtonghua district was established.
In 1979, the Revolutionary Committee of dongtonghua district was changed into Erdaojiang commune.
In March 1983, Erdaojiang commune was changed into Erdaojiang township.
