Dongtang Town, belonging to Fengcheng City, Dandong City, Liaoning Province, is located in the east of Fengcheng City. History of construction

In 1938, the puppet Manchuria state established Dongtang Village (township level system), which belongs to Fengcheng county.

In October 1945, the Fengcheng County Committee of the Communist Party of China established Dongtang district; in the same year, the Kuomintang military reformed Dongtang township.

In June 1947, the Northeast Democratic Alliance Army liberated Fengcheng, restored Dongtang district and stationed in Dongtang.

In February 1956, Dongtang district was established.

In March 1958, Dongtang and Tucheng were divided into two townships.

In September 1958, Dongtang and Tucheng townships were abolished and Dongtang commune was established.

In September 1983, Dongtang commune was abolished and Dongtang township was established.
