Shizui Town, belonging to Panshi City, Jilin City, Jilin Province, is located in the middle of Panshi City, bordering Futai town in the East, Fu'an street in the south, Chaoyang mountain town in the west, Mingcheng Town, Yantongshan town and Yima town in the north, 15 kilometers away from Panshi City. The area is 242.97 square kilometers.
In 1893, Shizui town was named shizuitun. In 1965, Shizui commune established Shizui town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Shi Zui town was 27479. As of June 2020, Shizui town has one community and 19 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Zhongxing community.
In 2018, there were 43 industrial enterprises in Shizui Town, including 3 large-scale enterprises and 38 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1893, it was named shizuitun.
In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), it belonged to the third police district. In January 1949, it belonged to the second district (Donglai District).
In September 1958, Shizui village was transformed into Shizui commune.
In 1965, Shizui commune was renamed Donglai commune, and Shizui town was established.
In August 1968, Donglai commune was renamed Shizui commune.
In December 1983, Shizui commune was transformed into Shizui township.
In November 1984, Shizui township was merged into Shizui town.
In August 2011, Anle township was merged into Shizui town.
