Liuquan township has 29426 mu of cultivated land and 12037 permanent residents (in 2017), with 37 administrative villages and 134 natural villages under its jurisdiction. Liuquan township is the gateway to the east of Lingchuan and the "barrier" of the Central Plains. Linghui highway runs through the township and directly reaches the Central Plains. administrative division
In 2001, the township administrative divisions of Lingchuan County were adjusted (Jin Zheng Han No.9; Jin Shi Zheng FA No.6 on January 10), yetou Township and Liuquan Township were abolished, and a new Liuquan township was established. After the adjustment, Liuquan township has a population of 15682 and an area of 237.9 square kilometers. The Township People's government is located in Liuquan village.
